Coffee-Themed Canvas Home Decor

Hi, friends! Like coffee? Teri here with a fun way to spruce up your coffee bar to make a coffee-themed canvas.

This little canvas is a cute way to add a touch of fun to your home decor!

Create the Elements and Prep the Canvas

Start by creating the elements. Stamp, color, and fussy cut several small coffee cups. You’ll also want to stamp a sentiment.

Before you cut the sentiment out, adhere it to a piece of 3D Foam Creative Sheet Medium. Cut it out with your scissors. Set it and the coffee cups aside.

Choose a small canvas to use. I’m using one that had a pre-printed text on it. Can’t find one like mine? You can easily mimic the look by adhering a text paper or a page from an old book onto a blank canvas.

Randomly apply some lines of E-Z Runner® Petite Permanent Dots on the edges of the canvas. Burnish foil onto the adhesive lines. You can use your fingers to do the burnishing. An air hockey paddle will also do the trick! The felt at the bottom of the paddle makes it easily glide, plus the paddle allows for applying even pressure.

If you want your foil to really stand out, use a dark color! I used a silver-tone, which is fairly subtle on my canvas.

Decorate the Canvas

Add your coffee cups to the canvas with a strong adhesive. Place a foam heart on top of one of the coffee cups and apply foil to it.

Flip your sentiment over. Randomly add a metallic thread to it.

Place the sentiment on your canvas, and finish the canvas by adding one more heart, as well as a few foam circles. Be sure to apply some foil to the circles as well.

I hope you are inspired to make a coffee-themed canvas of your own. And don’t stress if you don’t have stamps like the ones I used. Look in your stash for something else that will work!
