These little banners are easy to make and look great on any occasion cards. Make some for your next card creation. It will bring a smile 🙂

Creating a Circle Banner

Start by cutting several circles from patterned paper. You can speed up the cutting process by using a circle punch or a circle die with a die-cutting machine to cut them. It’s up to you how large you want the circles to be.

Fold the circles in half and place adhesive on the inside. I find Premium Double-Sided Tape works great for this. But if you are using a heavyweight paper, you may want to try using a stronger adhesive like Extreme Double-Sided Tape to secure your circles!

Place the circles over a piece of twine. Seal them up. Embellish them further by applying 3D Foam Shapes, such as 3D Foam Stars and 3D Foam Pennants, to your banners. Don’t be afraid to use your scissors to cut up the shapes to make them fit.

Complete your banners by adding flock or glitter to the foam shapes. You’ll also want to adhere a few random sequins to the banners.

Add Circle Banners to Cards

These banners look great when you use them on cards!

I made two banners for this card and choose to hang them at an angle rather than straight across the card.

Rather than using the same flock or glitter to decorate the foam shapes, consider using a couple different colors. Here I used white and pink flocks on my circle banners!

Remember, there are no rules when it comes to making banners. Banners can have a whole bunch of flags or just a few.

Two flags on a single banner doesn’t sound fun, but hanging three banners with two flags together on a card makes a nice, bold design statement!

I hope you are inspired to make some cards with your own circle banners!

Happy creating!
