Good morning! Michele here with a Christmas ornament using a rusty Ball Jar lid and 3D Foam Christmas Shapes. The shapes are a perfect size for this project. The lid was soaked in vinegar and water all summer long (I do this every summer to prepare!). I love the vintage worn look of the lids as a base!
I cut out several circles and inked them up in shades of blue. I stamped the snowflake for a bit more interest.
The third circle was cut in half with a few peaks and valleys to emulate snow drifts. I used Dual Tip Glue Pen to add glitter. I adhered everything to the inside of the lid using Crafty Foam Tape. Two of the trees from the 3D Foam Christmas Shapes were used. Just add glitter to each and dots of gold. Stars were added from the 3D Foam Stars pack and were covered with gold glitter.
I attached a sticker sentiment to the bottom with Crafty Foam Tape. A few red sequins were attached using Dodz Adhesive Dot Small. I tied twine, ribbon, and jingle bells to the top for easy hanging!
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great day!
